I initially ordered a size 6 but found it to be too small upon arrival, as the thick, fluffy sheep wool lining occupies a significant amount of space. I reached out to request an exchange for a size 7, and Hazel was wonderfully accommodating. Within a week, the exchange was seamlessly completed—I returned the size 6 and received the size 7 in its place. The slippers are a perfect fit now, offering exceptional comfort, breathability, and warmth.
I am particularly impressed by the quality craftsmanship, including the durable rubber soles and meticulous stitching. They will undoubtedly be ideal for the chilly Karoo winters, especially when it snows. I opted for the black color, and it is a rich, deep black that I truly adore.
For anyone seeking high-quality, natural wool slippers that provide warmth without overheating, I highly recommend these. My only suggestion is to consider ordering a size up to accommodate the plush wool lining.

Listen, if you are reading this, it means you already bought it in your mind. DO IT!!!! These babies are a must have. Soft, stylish, warm and stunning. After searching the web for a pair of comfy black slippers I discovered the Sheepskin Slippers site. I wear a size 10 and finding anything in that size for women is a huge challenge. Have been wearing my slippers non-stop since it arrived yesterday. Absolutely lovely, non-smelly slippers😁

I contacted Hazel as I wanted a pair of black leather and black wool Cosy Shepherd slippers with a non- slip sole. The non-slip sole didn't appear to be an option on the website. Hazel was more than happy to oblige and let me know the slippers would take 15-20 days to manufacture, as it was a custom order. 4 days later the most amazing work of art was delivered to my door. They are stylish, warm and comfortable and I won't slip on the wet bricks on my quick trips outside in the rain.
