Celebrate Southern Africa Interview

What a lovely chat I (Hazel) had with radio host and podcaster, Dawn Denton of Celebrate Southern Africa in the UK about all things sheepskin slippers. We discussed how Sheepskin Slippers SA started, our ranges, sheepskin ''super-powers'', entrepreneurship, manufacturing, smelly-feet 🤣 and how easy it is for those living abroad to order slippers and have them delivered in SA.

SA Chamber of Commerce UK Award Nomination

Sheepskin Slippers SA are humbled to be nominated for the

South African Chamber of Commerce (UK) Innovation and Resilience Awards 2021.

This nomination was for successfully pivoting our handcrafted sheepskin slipper business into the e-commerce sector and growing our business despite the pandemic.

"Before COVID, we were running Sheepskin Slippers SA manually and fielding about 300 touch points per day. When COVID hit, the demand for comfortable home working footwear was huge and therefore had to innovate to achieve success. Moving to e-commerce and automated systems has transformed the business. We now answer 0-2 queries manually per day and sales have increased considerably.” noted Hazel Hoole, Founder of Sheepskin Slippers SA
