I contacted Hazel as I wanted a pair of black leather and black wool Cosy Shepherd slippers with a non- slip sole. The non-slip sole didn't appear to be an option on the website. Hazel was more than happy to oblige and let me know the slippers would take 15-20 days to manufacture, as it was a custom order. 4 days later the most amazing work of art was delivered to my door. They are stylish, warm and comfortable and I won't slip on the wet bricks on my quick trips outside in the rain.

I bought these wool mule slippers as house shoes, and as a his-and-hers set with my husband (who wears the binded collar pair). They’re incredibly comfortable and beautifully made.
One thing I particularly appreciate is how easy the soles are to wipe clean. Because I wear them exclusively indoors, I’m always conscious of not tracking dust through the house, and the soles clean up effortlessly.
A note on sizing: they felt a little snug at first, but after wearing them daily for about two weeks they softened and moulded to my feet beautifully. I’d recommend sticking with your usual size and giving them a little time to wear in.
